Educational meetings dedicated to the birthday of the great engineer Vladimir Shukhov took place in the city of Vranje, Serbia. Director of the Institute of Serbian Language and Communications of Shukhov Belgorod State Technological University  Victoria Ryapukhina took part in the events.

Meetings with students of the Borislav Stankovich Gymnasium and the Secondary School of Economics were held within the framework of a partnership with BSTU. Let us recall that the first agreement with these educational institutions was signed back in 2018 with the aim of promoting the educational programs of the Belgorod State Technological University abroad. Largely due to this, 10 young people from Vranje became BSTU students.

Anatoly Balchev's documentary film "Shukhov. The Last Hero of the Russian Renaissance," provided by the International Shukhov Foundation was shown. Translation of the film into Serbian was made by the staff the Institute of Serbian Language and Communications.

“The events were attended mainly by schoolchildren who chose Russian as a foreign language and are considering the prospect of continuing their education in Russia, and their number was very impressive,” noted Victoria Ryapukhina and expressed gratitude for the cooperation personally to the director of the foundation Leonid Stern, the head of the Pan-Orthodox Society “Reverend Justin of Celi and Vranje” Nenad Boykov and the school management.
