About modern transport technologies at an international conference
Head of the Department of Operation and Organization of Automobile Transport at BSTU named after Shukhov Nikolay Zagorodniy and Associate Professor of the Department Aleksey Konev took part in the international scientific and practical conference "Modern Systems and Technologies in Transport: Problems and Prospects". The forum was held at the Voronezh State Forest Engineering University named after G. F. Morozov and was dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the university.
The purpose of the conference is to demonstrate the current progress in the field of transport systems, exchange experience in the application of new technologies, as well as methods and methodology of scientific research in the motor transport industry, and show the possibilities of interdisciplinary and intersectoral interaction in the field of transport. This will allow us to receive valuable comments, expand scientific and practical competencies, and open up new horizons and topics for research.
The conference brought together more than 100 representatives of the transport scientific community from various cities in Russia, as well as Belarus and Uzbekistan. Representatives of scientific and educational organizations, large industry enterprises, government bodies and professional associations gathered at the Voronezh university.
Nikolay Zagorodniy, Head of the Department of Operation and Organization of Motor Transport at BSTU named after Shukhov, spoke at the plenary session of the conference with a report entitled "Improving the Efficiency of Technical Operation of Trucks".
The participation of Shukhov scientists in the conference allowed not only to demonstrate the experience and results of scientific research, but also to discuss issues of further cooperation and interaction for educational purposes to exchange experience in related specialties of the automotive industry, which will allow more effective solution of the tasks.
