ACKNOWLEDGMENTS BY THE PRESIDENT
President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin expressed gratitude to the staff of Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov. Our university is recognized for its merits in the field of science and education, training of highly qualified specialists.
BSTU named after Shukhov is a flagship university in Belgorod oblast, one of the top 100 best universities in Russia. There are 45 scientific schools, 43 departments, 9 institutes; among more than 16 thousand students 2 thousand are international students. Our students are leaders in research, educational, volunteer, patriotic activities, sports and culture.
The developments of university scientists are used at enterprises in the nuclear and space industries, in the agro-industrial complex and medicine, power engineering, construction, ecology, etc.
The Technological University actively participates in federal programs, cooperates with Russian and foreign universities, interacts with industrial partners, helping to effectively solve real production issues.
