Acquaintance with the culture and traditions of Africa

On April 24, on the International Day of Multilateral Diplomacy for Peace, at the Public Support Headquarters of the Belgorod Oblast there was an acquaintance with the culture and traditions of Africa.

The series of events within the framework of the “Cultural Question” project was opened by the photo exhibition “North Africa through the eyes of Anton Vergun”. Visitors were able to see the exhibition and chat with the author, who spoke about his travels to Egypt, Tunisia and Morocco.

Participants in the cultural event were foreign students of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov Awofuye Adebola James and Thaddeus Kosinski. The guys showed videos about life at the university, shared their impressions and said that they liked studying in Russia, where they found many friends.

Afterwards there was a teleconference with the president of the Union of Africans of Russia and representatives of the African consulate.

 The International Day of Multilateral Diplomacy for Peace aims to highlight the importance of diplomatic efforts in establishing friendly relations and stability.
