Award for Contribution to Diplomacy

The university was awarded a certificate of honor for its significant contribution to strengthening Eurasian integration, developing public diplomacy and establishing the foundations of peace, friendship and harmony between peoples. The award was presented at a gala reception in honor of the seventh anniversary of the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations "Eurasian Peoples' Assembly".

Let us remind that in October 2023, with the support of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Education and Science Belgorod State Technological University named after V. G. Shukhov hosted the International Forum “Truth and Morality - a Strategic Resource of Public Diplomacy.” It brought together representatives of international organizations, public and scientific figures from 40 countries of the post-Soviet space, the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia and Europe. The event had a wide international resonance, and the final document - the manifesto - was called the universal “road map of public diplomacy at the present stage.”

Let us note that the mission of the assembly is to form “the consciousness of a person of the third millennium, creating and affirming the co-creation of peoples in the name of peace and prosperity.” In this regard, the work of the association is focused on three main areas: youth, scientific-educational and cultural-humanitarian diplomacy.
