BSTU named after Shukhov will cooperate with the University of Pakistan
BSTU named after Shukhov and COMSATS University Islamabad, Abbottabad campus, entered into a memorandum of cooperation. The document was signed by the rector of the Belgorod university, Professor Sergei Glagolev and the director of the Pakistani university, Dr. Imtiaz Ali Khan, within the framework of the 9th meeting of the Russian-Pakistani Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation, which was held on December 4 in Moscow.
The parties will cooperate in all areas of scientific, production, educational and cultural activities of mutual interest. The validity period of the memorandum is five years.
Belgorod and Pakistani universities will work together on scientific, educational and innovative projects, including within the framework of international grants; train highly qualified specialists on an exchange basis for the purpose of completing doctoral (candidate's) dissertations; publish joint textbooks, articles and scientific reports, exchange information on scientific and educational literature; create joint educational courses and programs for students; hold conferences, seminars, etc.
