Elizaveta Tarasova, First Vice-Rector for Research at Belgorod University of Cooperation, Economics and Law, delivered a presentation on "University International Activities: Priority Areas in the Context of New Challenges and Opportunities." During her presentation, she outlined the university key events for 2025 and outlined plans for the coming year.
One of the central subjects of the meeting was a report by Elena Chetverikova, Head of the Export Control Department at V.G. Shukhov Belgorod State Technical University, concerning "The Export Control System at the University." In her speech, she noted that export controls are primarily applied to high-tech products and advanced technologies, and their importance is growing as scientific and technological progress accelerates.
It was emphasized that international contracts and projects, agreements on the export and import of goods, information, works, services and results of intellectual activity, materials for international conferences and publications, as well as educational services provided to foreign citizens, are subject to the identification examination procedure in accordance with the internal export control program.
Elena Chetverikova presented the procedure for conducting expert evaluations of scientific and technical materials prepared for open publication and exhibiting characteristics of controlled technologies, using BSTU as an example.
Following the meeting, the commission members posed questions to the speakers and discussed current work objectives.
