Participation in the forum “Russia – a Home for Nations”
On March 12, the All-Russian Forum “Russia – a Home for Nations” was held in Moscow, aimed at popularizing traditional value guidelines in society. Maxim Garuchava , the chief of staff of the Center for organizing the activities of student groups for the prevention of crime “Shield” of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov took part in the forum events.
In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, 2024 has been declared the Year of the Family. The main goals of the forum are to support and develop family values, strengthen family relationships and increase public interest in the issues related to a family. The “Russia – House of Nations” forum brought together Russian leaders in the field of interethnic relations and people of the same interest from foreign countries to harmonize interethnic relations and strengthen the all-Russian civic identity. Representatives of government bodies of the Russian Federation, clergy, scientific and expert communities, business, public and large families, more than 600 people from Russian regions, and about 30 delegates from foreign countries got together at the forum.
One of the forum sections was devoted to the topic “Let's save our children. Prevention of manifestations of extremism among children and youth.”
“I made a report on the unique experience in the prevention of extremism and terrorism at BSTU named after Shukhov. I also showed a video on this topic, which was prepared by our university students Ruslan Kim and Sergey Gargalyk. The forum participants highly appreciated the work done,” said the chief of staff of the Center for organizing the activities of student crime prevention groups “Shield” of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov Maxim Garuchava.
