Dear colleagues, students and postgraduates of Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov!
Please accept our sincere congratulations on the upcoming 2025! On the eve of the new year, it is customary to sum up the results and make new plans. But the success of new beginnings depends on what we have already done, what foundation we have laid for future achievements.
2024 was a challenging and eventful year. For BSTU named after Shukhov, it was an anniversary year: the celebration of the 70th anniversary took place not only at the university, but also in Moscow, at VDNKh. The university strengthened its position in international and Russian rankings, and also concluded important cooperation agreements with federal and regional organizations.
We continue to participate in the Priority 2030 strategic academic leadership program, which allows us to increase the scientific and educational potential of BSTU, create new youth laboratories so that our students and postgraduates can directly participate in important research, hold international scientific conferences and forums, receive federal grants that help develop not only science, but also the university infrastructure. As confirmation of the efforts made, we have received gratitude from the President of Russia for the achievements in the field of education and science. Our students are still among the best: they win international and federal competitions and olympiads, sports and creative competitions, and as volunteers they actively help the city and those who need support in these difficult times.
I am confident that in the coming year, owing to the professionalism and talent of the university staff, we will maintain the course for development and creation, despite any difficulties. Our faith in the common goal, determination and mutual support are a solid foundation for future achievements.
