Serbian students of BSTU took part in the International Historical School

The VI International Historical School took place in Novosibirsk. Russian and foreign students, post graduate students and young scientists took part in it. Students of Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov have also passed the selection process.

The International Historical School helps to develop research competencies among foreign and Russian students, to expand and deepen their understanding of historical events, current approaches, methods and trends in the development of the humanities.

BSTU named after Shukhov was represented by student of the Institute of Economics and Management Maria Dimitrievich, student of the Institute of Architecture Neda Stojilkovich and a post-graduate student Milena Vidojkovic.

The participants were divided into five teams according to subjects: “Asian Russia at the crossroads of world cultures (antiquity, the Middle Ages, modern and contemporary times)”; “Current issues in the study and preservation of historical memory”; “Russian experience of political and socio-economic transformations (XIX–XX centuries)”; "Russian Literary Heritage"; "Cities of Science: Development of Scientific Potential in the USSR."

The school program included expert presentations by leading Russian scientists, master classes and workshops, excursions and project work in small groups. The organizers of the VI International Historical School were the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation,  Russian Historical Society Association, Fatherland History Foundation and Novosibirsk State University.
