Sergei Glagolev - participant of the meeting of the Council of the Russian Union of Rectors

Rector of Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov Sergei Glagolev took part in an extended meeting of the Council of the Russian Union of Rectors. The meeting was held on February 20 in Moscow.

 The participants were greeted by Assistant to the President of Russia Andrei Fursenko, Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia Valery Falkov and Chairman of the State Duma Committee of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on Science and Higher Education Sergei Kabyshev.

 The President of the Russian Union of Rectors, Rector of Lomonosov Moscow State University, academician Viktor Sadovnichy made a report “Universities are a key factor in the personnel training system to ensure the technological sovereignty of Russia.”

The meeting participants discussed the priorities for the development of higher education in modern conditions; concepts for the development of mathematical, biological, physical and chemical education in the country; preparation of a ranking of universities in the BRICS+ countries within the framework of the Moscow international ranking “Three University Missions”.
