A conference “How can foreign girls organize their lives in Russia?” was held at Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov on December 3. The meeting was organized by BSTU students from the Democratic Republic of  Congo together with the Center for International Education and Cooperation.

The conference attracted a large number of participants, including those who already have experience living in Russia, as well as those who are just planning to move here. The key theme was language adaptation. Forum participants proposed various methods and gave recommendations for learning the Russian language, including courses, tutors and online resources; shared their experiences and tips for quickly and effectively mastering the language.

The conference also examined the features of immersion in the cultural environment of Russia: the study of traditions, customs, mentality and the most common stereotypes about the country. The legal status of foreign citizens in Russia became an important issue: procedures for obtaining a visa, registration and other necessary documents were discussed.

Participants received valuable knowledge and information that will help them to better adapt to the new environment, build a successful career and take advantage of the opportunities that Russia offers.
