The Chinese Center for Culture, Science and Education will open at the university
Chinese Center for Culture, Science and Education will be opened on the basis of Belgorod State Technological University named after V. G. Shukhov. The agreement was signed during the visit of the delegation of the flagship university of the Belgorod region to the Hulunbuir Institute (China).
BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov is represented by the Vice-Rector for International Affairs, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Ruslan Lesovik and the appointed director of the Chinese Center for Culture, Science and Education Maxim Poloz. In particular, Ruslan Lesovik met with Rector Li Wenge, Vice-Rector for International Affairs Li Yueyu, Head of the International Department Wang Shuen, Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CCP) International Department Han Jingfeng and Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering Jiang Zuojie.
The opening of the Chinese Center for Culture, Science and Education on the basis of BSTU will deepen and strengthen scientific, cultural and educational ties with China. As part of the work of the center work, Chinese language instructors will be sent, and teachers of the preparatory faculty and employees of the Belgorod Technological University are already working on teaching the Russian language and preparing Chinese applicants for getting education in Russia.
BSTU named after V. G. Shukhov continues to actively interact with the Hulunbuir Institute in the educational, scientific and cultural sphere. This gives an incentive to increase the number of students from China under the programs of inclusive education majoring in "Construction Engineering". Of particular interest to Chinese partners is studying the Master Degree coursey. Within the framework of bilateral cooperation, BSTU scientists will be able to fully use the possibilities of the research potential of the Chinese, in particular, to conduct research in local laboratories.
According to the Vice-Rector for International Affairs Ruslan Lesovik, cooperation with Chinese colleagues is one of the most promising areas of activity. Closer interaction will strengthen partnership and help bring joint projects to a new level.
Hulunbuir Institute is a long-term partner of BSTU named after V. G. Shukhov, where the program of inclusive education within the major of construction engineering is being implemented and students from China receive education at the level of bachelor's, master's and postgraduate studies.
