The results and strategic objectives for the new academic year were discussed at BSTU named after Shukhov
The university held another meeting of the academic council. The meeting was devoted to summing up the results and setting goals for the new academic year.
The results of the state final certification of graduates and the results of the summer examination session were reported at the meeting by Vice-Rector for Digital Transformation and Educational Activities Vladimir Polyakov. The work plan of the University Academic Council for the 2025/2026 academic year was announced by Academic Secretary Tatyana Duyun. The First Vice-Rector Yevgeny Yevtushenko reported on the appointment of a scholarship named after Hero of the Soviet Union, Army General N. F. Vatutin.
Traditionally, the best employees were awarded at the meeting. A letter of thanks from the governor for many years of conscientious work and significant contribution to the development of the higher education system in the Belgorod Region was received by Professor of the Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology Larisa Rybak. A letter of thanks from the Ministry of Construction of the Belgorod Region was awarded to the chief engineer of the university Andrei Lyutenko, the head of the repair group Aleksei Vladimirov, professor of the Department of Heat and Gas Supply and Ventilation Aleksandr Goltsov and acting head of the Department of Mechanical Equipment Sergei Antsiferov, who was also awarded a certificate of assignment of the academic title of associate professor.
Gratitude from Belgorod city administration for professionalism, achieved labor successes, personal contribution to the development of the construction industry of the city of Belgorod and in connection with the professional holiday - Builder's Day was announced to Associate Professor of the Department of Construction and Urban Economy Stanislav Esipov, Head of the Department of Real Estate Expertise and Management Andrey Naumov, Head of the Capital Construction Department Victoria Razinkova.
A diploma for active participation in projects and programs of youth policy and educational activities, an invaluable contribution to the development of the student community and the organization of significant events signed by the head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs Grigory Gurov and Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Olga Petrova was awarded to Vice-Rector for Educational Activities and Youth Policy Irina Avilova.
The Commemorative Medal "For the merit to BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov" of the 2nd degree for many years of fruitful scientific and pedagogical activity, a great contribution to the training of highly qualified specialists, and active participation in the public life of the university was awarded to the Head of the Department of Higher Mathematics Alexander Gorlov, the Medal "For the merit to BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov" of the 3rd degree was awarded to Associate Professor of the Department of Higher Mathematics Yuri Feoktistov and Associate Professor of the Department of Cement and Composite Materials Technology Andrei Cherkasov.
Three awards were received for participating in the design and survey intensive course "Archipelago-2025", held in the Skolkovo Innovation Center. Head of the Department of Urban Cadastre and Engineering Surveys Natalia Shirina was awarded a certificate of gratitude for active participation in designing new formats of interaction between the industry and the university. A diploma and a medal for second place in the engineering competition "Geodetic Exploration" were awarded to Nikita Yemelyanov, an engineer of the Department of Urban Cadastre and Engineering Surveys. Gratitude for contribution to the development of ideas and achievement of results of the Laboratory "Educational Modules of Competitions", honesty, thoughtfulness, constructivism and optimism was received by assistant of the Department of Urban Cadastre and Engineering Surveys Alexander Polyakov. In addition, Alexander was awarded a diploma for first place in the nomination "Specialist in the operation of unmanned aerial systems" of the All-Russian competition of professional skills "Best in Profession" held in Tula at the Scientific and Production Center of UAS "TulaDron" (regional stage).
