BSTU is a participant in the international conference in Yekaterinburg

Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov took part in the XXII International Scientific and Technical Conference “Readings in memory of V. R. Kubachek. Technological equipment for the mining and oil and gas industries at the Ural State Mining University,” which took place in Yekaterinburg from April 3 to 5 as part of the Ural Mining ten day period.

 The forum brought together the largest domestic and foreign engineering and manufacturing companies, as well as representatives of research and development organizations and universities.

The flagship university of the Belgorod region was represented by a delegation from the Department of Mechanical Equipment headed by the head of the Mining section, Associate Professor Viktor Dmitrienko. Three BSTU students made presentations. All of them are award-winning.

 The 1st degree diploma was awarded to 4th year student Daria Fenina, who presented the report “Analysis of the bulldozer fleet in Russia.” 5th year student Evgeny Sergeev was awarded a II degree diploma for his work “Design of a laboratory complex for an ore-gravel mill.” A third-degree diploma was awarded to fifth-year student Polina Baklanova, who presented a report remotely on the topic “Analysis of mills for producing ultrafine powders.”
