BSTU named after Shukhov is a participant of the IV Congress of Young Scientists

The IV Congress of Young Scientists has started in the federal territory "Sirius" in Krasnodar Krai. The annual event is held as part of the Decade of Science and Technology in Russia, announced by Vladimir Putin in 2022. This time, the main topic of the meeting is "Priorities of Scientific and Technological Development: Creating the Future Today."

BSTU named after Shukhov is represented by a delegation of eleven people. As part of the RSF school, the director of the INO and the OPC NKM, the head of the department of materials science and technology of materials, doctor of technical sciences, professor Valeria Strokova took part in the session "Scientific assessment of projects" as an expert of the fund and as the head of the current project.

Also, the flagship university of Belgorod oblast is represented by the Director of the Small Technological University Natalia Altynnik; leading research fellow of the Research Laboratory "Self-Cleaning Coatings", Director of School No. 21 of Belgorod Victoria Nelyubova; Head of the Department of Ecobiotechnology Irina Starostina; Associate Professor of the Department of Industrial Ecology Yulia Tokach; Associate Professor, Senior Research Fellow of the Research Laboratory "Self-Cleaning Coatings" Diana Bondarenko; Senior Research Fellow of the Institute of Scientific Research and the OPC NKM Irina Markova; Junior Research Fellow of the Research Institute of Radioelectronics and Control Systems Dmitry Malyshev; Assistant of the Department of Electric Power Engineering and Automation Alvina Malysheva; Assistant of the Department of Industrial Ecology Reshat Gafarov; Master's student, member of the Student Scientific Society Danil Potapov.

The congress program includes more than 170 events: business sessions, open dialogues and round tables, presentations, discussions, cultural and sports events. 7,000 guests from more than 60 countries are taking part in the forum.

 Over the course of three days, forum participants will discuss the implementation of the Decade of Science and Technology initiatives, seek answers to the challenges of the times, strengthen international scientific communication, get acquainted with new technologies and innovations, talk about partnerships between business and science, the role and achievements of Russian science in the context of international cooperation with the BRICS countries and global development.
