BSTU will Extend Joint Master’s Program with Linyi University
Tatyana Dubrovina, Head of the Department of World Economy and Financial Management at the Institute of Economics and Management of Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov (BSTU), is currently on a working visit to Linyi University (People's Republic of China).
The purpose of the visit is to strengthen academic ties, exchange experience with international colleagues, and develop cooperation in the fields of economic education and scientific research. The agenda includes working meetings with the administration of the Chinese university and faculty staff.
A key event will be the signing of an agreement to extend the contract for the joint "International Business" master’s degree program, which follows a "1+1" format. This program, offered by V.G. Shukhov Belgorod State Technological University in collaboration with Linyi University, has been running for several years and is highly demanded by Chinese students. The first master degree students graduated in 2026.
The curriculum is structured in two stages. During the first year, students from China complete their theoretical course online. In the second year, they travel to BSTU for in-person study, familiarization with the university academic environment and preparation for the defense of their final qualifying thesis.
Extending this agreement will ensure the continued training of specialists in the field of international business and further strengthening of the partnership between the Russian and Chinese universities.
