Excursion to Prokhorovka

Foreign students of BSTU named after Shukhov visited Prokhorovka. The excursion was organized with the support of the Gubkin Spiritual and Educational Center "Transfiguration". The children were able to get acquainted with Russian history and culture.

The Church of the Apostles Peter and Paul amazed foreign guests with its architecture and ancient iconostasis. In the cultural and historical center of the “Third Military Field of Russia” museum, the guide told the children about the history of Russia, its military heroic acts and cultural achievements. BSTU students learned about the famous Battle of Prokhorovka and saw exhibits recreating the lifestyle and military equipment of the Second World War.

At the end of the excursion, students took photographs at monuments in honor of great events in Russian history and shared their impressions. Such trips are an opportunity to get familiarized with the country you are studying in better and get into its culture.
