Experts of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov took part in the industry forum in Moscow

Director of the Transport and Technology Institute Nikolai Alexandrovich Zagorodny and Head of the Department of Operation and Traffic Management Alexei Aleksandrovich Konev took part in an expanded meeting of the department of the Federal Educational and Methodological Association of Universities in an enlarged group of specialties and areas of 23.00.00 training - "Technique and Technologies of Ground Transport."

The event was held on the basis of the Moscow Automobile and Road State Technical University with the participation of representatives of Russian universities. The program of the event included the opening of the meeting, the presentation of the conference speakers, discussions on reports, familiarization with the production and technical base of STO "Volin", departure of the meeting participants to the Mitino operational site of GUP "Mosgortrans", summing up the results of the meeting, as well as holding the All-Russian contest of textbooks and teaching aids.

Particular attention at the event was paid to the importance of consolidating the academic community, the state and the real sector of the economy to train personnel who meet the modern challenges of the transport industry. The main objectives of the meeting were: the development of interaction between universities implementing programs on the UGSN 23.00.00, the exchange of advanced knowledge and experience and educational and methodological developments, the discussion of curricula and the implementation of joint educational programs.

At the end of the expanded meeting, experts emphasized the need for universities to interact with employers and the formation of new recommendations for updating curricula that meet current labor market requirements.
