Friendship between Russia and Africa
A student of Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov Mwango Chanda Gorreti took part in the strategic session of African bloggers “Friendship between Russia and Africa” in Rostov-on-Don. The educational and enlightenment program was held at the National Center for Information Combating Terrorism and Extremism in the Educational Environment and the Internet.
The bloggers listened to a lecture by analyst Maxim Kutsenko on fake news, and also talked with a member of Special Military operation - commander of the assault troops "Pyatnashka" international brigade and adviser to the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Alias Avidzba. The session participants also visited the Museum of the Don Cossack Guard, where initiation into the Cossacks took place.
“This opportunity shows that the university is always ready to support foreign students in any endeavor, opening up opportunities for interaction with African countries. I am grateful for this attitude; it is very important for me and other students that at BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov, our ideas always receive a response from management,” noted Mwango Chanda Gorreti.
The program ended with a team game where students created content for various groups on social networks, which was addressed to African students living in Russia.
