INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION
Serbian students of BSTU named after Shukhov, at the invitation of the interethnic youth union, took part in the All-Russian meeting of interethnic student clubs, which was held at the State University of Management.
Representatives of the Institute of Economics and Management: student David Stojisavljevic and graduate student Milena Vidojkovic, as well as student of the Institute of Energy, Information Technologies and Control Systems Miljan Miljkovic acted as finalists of the first stage of the competition of student interethnic clubs “Unity in Diversity”. The students listened to lectures on international relations and gained new knowledge about international student exchange at master classes from leading experts in the field of international cooperation.
“We met the leaders of various university international clubs, talked about the problems of adaptation of foreign students and how they can be overcome. We were greatly impressed by the lecturers who taught classes on unity and cooperation. The last stage of the meeting was work on projects, and at the final part there was a surprise for us: all our proposals were included in the draft program of the association work, which will serve as a basis for interaction of all similar clubs and will provide support and assistance to students from abroad here in Russia,” — said Milena Vidojkovic.
Indeed, at the meeting the issue of the creation and functioning of the Association of Interethnic Student Clubs, as well as the formation of a program of its activities, was discussed, after which a draft charter was approved with the prospect of amendments and alterations.
