The Zvezda Multidisciplinary Engineering Olympiad is a unique project that was created jointly with the Union of Mechanical Engineers of Russia in order to educate engineering personnel for the country, good specialists who are expected at Russian industrial enterprises. This is an example of a successful collaboration of enterprises, universities and schools for the development of the economy of regions and the country.

The meeting of the organizing committee of the project, which is held at the Ural State University with the participation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation V.N. Falkov, is dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Olympiad movement and the training of engineering and technical personnel in Russia.

“Our university has repeatedly participated in the Zvezda Multidisciplinary Engineering Olympiad, and this was noted at the meeting today,” the rector of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov, Professor S.N. Glagolev, Chairman of the Council of Rectors of the Belgorod Region. — We at the university understand the importance of this project, which is personally supervised by Russian President Vladimir Putin. After all, the main goal of this Olympiad is to eliminate the shortage of engineering personnel in the country. And most importantly, what the project helps to achieve is the cooperation of higher educational institutions and enterprises in the framework of the formation of an engineering personnel reserve for the high-tech industry.”
