Rector Sergei Glagolev was awarded an Honorary Plaque from the Russian Students Sports Union

Rector of Belgorod State Technological University  named after V.G. Shukhov Sergei Glagolev took part in the meeting of the executive committee of the Russian Student Sports Union. The meeting took place in Moscow, at the Russian University of Sports.

During the meeting the participants discussed student sports leagues, regional student branches, events for 2025, digital and innovative technological development of physical education, etc. In a solemn atmosphere, Rector Sergei Glagolev, as an active member of the presidium of the Russian Student Sports Union, was awarded the Plaque of Honor for services to the development of student sports.

Let us remind you that BSTU named after Shukhov received a grant in the amount of 5 million rubles for the implementation of the project “Learning to be healthy!” The new gaming platform is expected to attract about a thousand students to participate in physical education and sports activities and help to create the need to maintain a healthy lifestyle. The program is planned to be implemented during 2024.
