Results of the visit of the delegation of African countries

On December 18, at BSTU named after Shukhov, a meeting was held with a delegation from Togo, Mali and Senegal. The flagship university of the Belgorod region was visited by the representative of the Baraka petroleum company Dabo Mohamed, the president and general director of Skolaris Finance Asiati Komvali Mavuko, Diawara Moussa, a private entrepreneur from Mali, Maguiraga Rokia, a representative of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock of Mali, Akutsa Komi and Kwami Mavuko, advisers to the President of Togo, and Diop Allais, national director of Scolaris Finance in Senegal.

The guests met with rector Sergei Glagolev and exchanged souvenirs. During the working meeting, Vice-Rector for International Affairs Ruslan Lesovik and foreign students discussed the adaptation process with the university guests, shared their experiences and impressions, noting the high level of training and recognition of BSTU diplomas in their countries. The guests made a response where they wished the guys good luck, reminding them that the future of their native countries depends on them.

The meeting participants also paid attention to the development of partnerships and the opportunity to create a base for practice and student exchange, including taking into account national interests. Representatives of the delegation noted that they are ready to provide support for foreign graduates of BSTU named after V. G. Shukhov with their further employment.

As a result, an agreement on international cooperation was signed with the International Institute of Management Bamako-IIM BKO (Mali).
