Sergei Glagolev — participant of the international conference ITON-2025
Rector of BSTU named after Shukhov, Doctor of Economics, Professor Sergei Glagolev took part in the V International Conference ITON-2025, which was held in the Novorossiysk branch of the Belgorod State Technological University. The forum brought together teachers and scientists from all over Russia, as well as representatives of Belarus, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
In addition to Sergei Nikolaevich, the opening ceremony of the large-scale scientific and practical event was attended by the Director of the Novorossiysk branch of BSTU named after Shukhov, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences Igor Chistyakov; Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Mikhail Ignatov; Doctor of Technical Sciences, Senior Researcher of the Research Department of the Military Innovative Technopolis "Era" Gennady Panamarev and others.
"Some students, interested in some areas which are close to them, will probably take them for deeper study and use them in their diploma work. Now an engineer is a very interesting and demanded profession, which plays a leading role in the context of import substitution and building technological sovereignty," emphasized Sergei Glagolev.
At the conference venues from April 15 to 18, the scientific community discussed about 180 reports on issues of sustainable development and technological sovereignty of the country, as well as the key role of science and education in this.
As part of the V International Scientific and Practical Conference, the Youth School "Engineering-XXI" was held, where young scientists, students and schoolchildren presented reports and their scientific proposals in the field of innovation, socio-economic and technological development.
