Students from Preparatory Faculty for foreign citizens have won awards at the International Poetry recitation contest

Students of the Preparatory Faculty for International Citizens at Shukhov Belgorod State Technological University took part in the International Inter-university Poetry Contest "I Read Poetry in Russian," held at Belgorod State University.

The students competed against dozens of international students from around the world. The contestants had to recite poems in Russian. The students demonstrated excellent phonetics, artistry, and a deep understanding of Russian classics.

Each performance was filled with genuine emotion, a love for the Russian language, and respect for the culture of the country which had become their second home. The Board of Judges highly praised the talent and courage of the contestants from Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov.

Following the competition, the students of the Preparatory Faculty received high marks from the judges. Bernadin Peniel (supervised by Natalia Bolshakova) took the first place. Mwila Benita Mhlanga (directed by Olga Arkatova) won in the Artistry category.
