Vice-Rector for International Affairs Ruslan Lesovik took part in the Eurasian Forum

The 16th Eurasian Economic Youth Forum, "Eurasian Synergy: Unity of the Peoples of Russia in the Era of Global Change," was held in Yekaterinburg. Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov was represented by Ruslan Lesovik, Vice-Rector for International Affairs.

The forum was organized by the Ural State University of Economics (USUE) with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Free Economic Society of Russia, the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh), and the government of the Sverdlovsk Region.

Almost all of the Russian region (87) participated in the EEYF. The Forum was attended by representatives from 117 countries. The forum, with the participation of university rectors from Russia and abroad, was devoted to the issue "Problems and Prospects of Eurasian Scientific and Educational Cooperation." Heads of higher educational institutions from Russia, China, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Sri Lanka, and Tajikistan, as well as government officials, took part in the discussion. The guests of honor at the event included: Assistant to the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Urals Federal District Vasily Dogdaev, Deputy Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region - Minister of Health of the Sverdlovsk Region Tatyana Savinova, Chairman of the Committee on Legislation and Public Safety of the Legislative Assembly of the Sverdlovsk Region Evgeny Starkov, Deputy Head of Yekaterinburg - Chief of Staff of the Yekaterinburg Administration Marina Fadeeva, Metropolitan Evgeny of Yekaterinburg and Verkhoturye, Director of the Department of Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Dmitry Birichevsky, Head of the Representative Office of the League of Arab States Walid Hamid Shiltagh, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the Russian Federation Khalid Abdullah Shawabka, President of the Free Economic Society of Russia, Honorary Professor of USUE Sergei Bodrunov, Deputy President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Chairman of the Joint Academic Council of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences for Medical Sciences Valery Chereshnev.
