A student from BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov won a golden prize at the Russian MMA Cup.

Nikita Loboyko, a student at the Department of Motor Transport Operations and Traffic Management within the Transport and Technology Institute at Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov, became the winner of the Russian Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Cup. The competition took place in Tula.
Nikita Loboyko competed as part of Belgorod oblast team in the weight class up to 120.2 kg. In the final fight, he competed with Alexander Mironov from the Sverdlovsk oblast.
The match for the gold medal ended in the second round, with Loboyko’s victory due to his chokehold. Overall, Belgorod oblast men's team finished third in the competition among the teams.
