About UNESCO World Heritage - on the forum

Rector of BSTU V. G. Shukhov Sergey Glagolev, director of the Institute of Architecture Vitaly Pertsev and deputy director of the Center for International Education and Cooperation Allah Yasser Seyfiddin take part in the International Forum dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Convention on the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage, which is taking place in Kazan.

The event is devoted to the discussion of topical issues of preserving the world's unique cultural and natural sites included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Recall that this convention was signed in 1972 and has become one of the most effective and widely recognized international acts developed under the auspices of UNESCO.

The guests were greeted by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Olga Lyubimova and Minister of Culture of the Syrian Arab Republic Lyubana Mshaveh.

The international forum will last until December 8.
