BSTU students in the regional program of the World Youth Festival

Volunteers and participants of the World Youth Festival from the Belgorod oblast took part in the regional program of the festival “Act”. The meeting took place at the Center for Youth Initiatives in Stary Oskol. BSTU named after Shukhov was represented by a delegation of 10 people.

Participants and volunteers of the World Youth Festival met with the Minister of Youth Policy of the Belgorod oblast, Tatyana Kireeva, to share their impressions and emotions. Then the work continued on theme platforms.

The students listened to speakers, including Mikhail Ignatov, professor of BSTU named after Shukhov. The festival site hosted master classes, quizzes, an activist school “Workshop of Creativity”, presentations of projects and the KVN Cup (humor and wit contest) dedicated to the World Youth Festival.

Let us remind you that the World Youth Festival was held according to the Decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin on the Federal Territory “Sirius” from March 2 to March 7, 2024. 40 BSTU representatives took part in it. The festival brought together 20,000 participants from all over the world under the motto “The world is changing because I am changing.”

 The World Youth Festival regional program “Act” gave local youth the opportunity to communicate with forum participants and exchange ideas and impressions.
