Sergei Glagolev at «Priority – technological leadership»
On the 27th of October in the Center of RBC events a large-scale branch conference «Priority – technological leadership» is being held. The event, held by the Ministry of Science and higher education of the Russian Federation jointly with Gazprombank Center of technological leadership, dedicated to interim results of implementation of the strategic academic leadership program «Priority – 2030» within the 5-year period as well as setting goals of development until 2030.
«Priority – 2030» program is the most significant one in the history of the Russian education. It has brought together 141 universities from 56 regions and set a new scale to the development of science and technology. The participants will discuss how scientific capacity and extraordinary experience of the universities can be transformed into real technologies, products and services for the economy of the country.
Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov is represented by the acting rector Sergei Nikolaevich Glagolev. Panel discussions and sessions concerning key issues of development of higher education and technologies are planned within the framework of the conference. Among the topics of discussion is the assessment of efficiency of state budget allocations use, technological leadership economy, practical aspects of implementation of universities development programs and operational management.
The «Rectors’ Club» presents special interest, a venue where leaders of major higher educational institutions of the country, including the acting rector Sergei Nikolaevich Glagolev, will discuss the work format and assessment criteria for development programs. The conference program also includes a technological session «Investments into the Future», where the universities will present their technological projects and start-ups to the most influential investment funds and industrial partners.
Being a part of such a conference presents an important step for demonstrating of achievements and the potential of BSTU at the federal level, strengthening of partner ties and defining new growth vectors within «Priority – 2030» strategy.
