Sergei Glagolev chaired a meeting of the Council of Rectors of Universities of Belgorod Region

The regular meeting of the Council of Rectors of Belgorod Region Universities was held at I.D. Putilin Belgorod Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The meeting was opened by the Council Chairman, Sergei Glagolev, Rector of Belgorod State Technological Unibersity named after V.G. Shukhov.

One of the key topics was the experience of implementing educational programs in as a network form. BSTU presented its practices for collaborating with Russian and international universities.

Vice Rector for Digital Transformation and Educational Activities Ivan Novikov noted: "We are currently working with two Chinese universities and are expecting cooperation with the other two in the future. We are coordinating curricula and jointly developing educational programs."

In 2026, BSTU will begin networking with the Higher School of Economics, as well as with St. Petersburg State University as part of the Mendeleev cluster.

"Our online resources, lectures, and classes have been well received by colleagues from other universities." "They have familiarized with them, evaluated them, and want to use them," added Ivan Novikov.

The meeting also discussed the organization of student research activities and the development of a new range of higher education majors.
