Acting Rector of BSTU named after Shukhov Sergei Glagolev was awarded a certificate of honor for his outstanding contribution to educational cooperation between Hulunbuir Institute (China) and Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov.

The Russian and Chinese universities have been successfully developing scientific, educational, and cultural cooperation since 2011. During this time, Hulunbuir Institute has sent over 300 Chinese citizens to advanced training courses in construction. Since 2018, an inclusive education program has been implemented for undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate students. BSTU researchers can take advantage of China's scientific research potential, including conducting research in the laboratories of the institute.

In October 2022, the Chinese Center for Culture, Science, and Education was opened at BSTU named after Shukhov, and in June 2023, the Russian-Chinese Center for Chinese Language and Culture was opened at Hulunbuir Institute.

The universities are working to implement international student exchange programs and conduct joint research in architecture, engineering, and construction. In June 2024, a delegation from BSTU named after Shukhov paid a working visit to Hulunbuir Institute.

This award is the result of strong international ties and a significant contribution to the development of bilateral educational and scientific contacts between the universities.
