Sharing experiences using Artificial Intelligence in education at a forum in China
Artem Voloshkin, a staff member of V.G. Shukhov Belgorod State Techological University, participated in the third International Forum "Higher Education, Innovation, and Development" as part of the Russian delegation. The event took place from November 28 to 30 on Hainan Island, China.
The forum brought together over 300 participants from 30 countries, including leading experts from the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, Malaysia, Argentina, Uzbekistan, and Russia. The discussions focused on global challenges and prospects for the development of higher education.
As part of the business program, Artem Voloshkin participated in the session "Modern Trends in the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education in the Russian Federation." The session examined Russian experience in implementing AI technologies in the educational process, from adaptive learning systems and intelligent performance analytics to the use of big data for personalizing learning patterns and forecasting labor market needs.
BSTU participation in this prestigious event was made possible due to its high reputation in China. At the invitation of one of the co-organizers, the Center for International Humanitarian Cooperation and Development, the university received special status and the right to participate in the forum free of charge.
This event not only strengthened the international ties of the university but also allowed us to demonstrate our expertise in digitalization and innovation in education on a global platform.
