Strengthening scientific and educational ties at the Russian-Malaysian Forum
Shukhov Belgorod State Technological University has become an active participant in key events in Russian-Malaysian educational and scientific cooperation. The events are taking place in Malaysia from November 10 to 14.
The focus is on the fourth meeting of the joint Russian-Malaysian Commission on Economic, Scientific, Technical, and Cultural Cooperation, which took place on November 11 on Langkawi Island. Chaired by Russian Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov and Malaysian Minister of Higher Education Zambri Abdul Kadir, the meeting will set strategic directions for cooperation between the two countries.
Acting Rector Sergey Glagolev and Vice Rector for International Affairs Ruslan Lesovik represent the interests of BSTU at this high level. The leadership of this flagship university in the Belgorod Region participate in the first Russian-Malaysian Educational Forum. Sergey Glagolev and Ruslan Lesovik present main educational programs, research developments, and the potential for international partnership, which will attract new partners and talented students from ASEAN countries.
Participation in events of this level is a logical result of the university's systematic efforts to integrate into the global educational space. BSTU named after Shukhov actively expands international cooperation, providing students and academic staff with unique opportunities for academic exchange, joint research, and participation in international projects.
