Vice-Rector Ruslan Lesovik took part in the celebration of DonSTU 68th anniversary
Ruslan Lesovik, Vice-Rector for International Affairs at BSTU named after Shukhov, attended the celebrations dedicated to the 68th anniversary of the founding of Donbass State Technical University (DSTU). The purpose of the visit is to develop inter-university partnerships and strengthen international ties.
The central event of DonSTU anniversary program was an international scientific and practical conference, which focused on identifying concrete mechanisms for deepening cooperation between academia and the real manufacturing sector. Particular attention was paid to the commercialization of scientific developments and the adaptation of educational programs to the needs of modern industry.
The forum was attended by rectors and vice-rectors of leading universities, heads of research institutes, and representatives of major industrial enterprises. This facilitated a productive and substantive dialogue between all parties interested in technological progress. During sessions and round tables, participants discussed key issues related to the implementation of joint projects, the development of innovative infrastructure, and the training of highly qualified personnel for new technological fields.
Holding such meetings makes a significant contribution to the development of international academic cooperation, opening new horizons for the integration of education, applied science, and high-tech production.
