We are expanding cooperation with Linyi University of China

A delegation from the Belgorod State Technological University named after V. G. Shukhov, headed by the head of the Department of World Economy and Financial Management Alexander Troshin, visited Linyi University (China). During the negotiations with the leadership of the Chinese university, promising areas of cooperation were discussed, in particular, the implementation of a joint bachelor's degree program 38.03.01 "Economics" of the "World Economy" program in the "2+2" format in English.

 The 2+2 program involves the first two years of study at Linyi University, and then continuing education and obtaining a diploma at BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov. This format will allow students to gain in-depth knowledge of the global economy, master Russian and English, and immerse themselves in two different educational systems.

The meeting defined the key stages of the implementation of the "2+2" program:

coordination of curricula and programs - ensuring compliance with educational standards of Russia and China;

formation of the teaching staff - selection of qualified lecturers who speak English and are able to provide high-quality education;

organization of the educational process - providing the necessary conditions for comfortable education of Chinese students at BSTU, including language support, accommodation and cultural adaptation;

launching an advertising campaign — informing potential students about the program and attracting talented young people from China.

 It is important to note that BSTU named after V. G. Shukhov is implementing the “1+1” program with Linyi University in the Master’s program 38.04.02 “International Business”. The first year of study has already begun, students are mastering the program at the Business School of Linyi University, and they are expected to continue their studies at BSTU named after V. G. Shukhov next year.

The Department of World Economy and Financial Management actively attracts Chinese students, creating favorable learning conditions for them: individual study plans; special events to get acquainted with Russian culture and life, the opportunity to regularly participate in scientific research, round tables, conferences held at the department.

The successful cooperation between BSTU named after V. G. Shukhov and Linyi University is a vivid example of fruitful international cooperation in the field of education. Joint programs allow training highly qualified specialists with a broad outlook and deep knowledge in the field of economics and international relations.
