The delegation of BSTU named after Shukhov paid a working visit to China, to the Hulunbuir Institute. The flagship university of the Belgorod region was represented by Vice-Rector for International Affairs Ruslan Lesovik and senior lecturer at the Department of Real Estate Assessment and Management Maxim Poloz.

Meetings were organized for the guests with the dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, the first secretary of the Hulunbuir Institute Li Wenge and the university managerial staff.

During a working trip to the branch of the Hulunbuir Institute in the city of Yakeshi, which was dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China, Russia and Mongolia, they discussed the development of trilateral relations and agreed on an exchange of students in the summer months (language practice - Russian, Chinese, English language) within the framework of a cooperation agreement between universities.

At the meeting with Rector Zhang Yuzhu, the parties discussed joint projects, the main one of which was training Chinese students under the 2+2 double degree program in the areas of Civil Engineering and Automation. An agreement was also signed on the training of graduates of the Hulunbuir Institute in the master's program of BSTU.

On June 21, the opening ceremony of the Russian-Chinese Center for Chinese Language and Culture took place on the basis of the Hulunbuir Institute. Its main tasks were outlined by the director of the center Maxim Poloz - exchange of students and teachers to exchange professional experience, conducting advanced training courses for Chinese students, teaching Chinese to students and teachers of BSTU named after V. G. Shukhov, as well as issuing state-standard certificates with passing HSK exams, holding summer and winter schools of “Construction Engineering” with issuing state-standard certificates for Chinese students on an ongoing basis
