Acquaintance with the profession of power engineers

Students of the Institute of Power engineering, Information Technologies and Control Systems visited Belgorodenergo with an excursion.

 Under the guidance of experienced professionals of the enterprise, 30 students who successfully completed the 1st year began an early immersion in the profession. They were told about the specifics of the work by Deputy Chief Engineer Vladimir Bakulin, Head of Production Preparation, Management and Production Assurance Service Alexander Boyko, Head of the Central Control Center Dispatch Service Alexei Kushchenko.

“The sooner we bring students closer to production, show how it all works, compare the textbook and practice, the sooner they will find themselves in a profession as multifaceted as power engineering,” said Alexander Belousov, director of the institute.

The students were introduced to the dispatch control, the technical process at the enterprise, and also saw motor vehicle pool. The students enjoyed the tour. It is not the first time that one of the Shukhovites visits the production.

 “It's nice that the industry branch is of interest for young professionals who will develop the domestic energy sector,” said Anton Gerasimov, head of Belgorodenergo.
