The 43rd All-Russian Student Olympiad on Strength of Materials with international participation was held at Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University.
Students solved six problems in the areas of "Strength of Materials", "Engineering Mechanics" and "Applied Mechanics". Each problem was assessed on a 10-point scale. The topics included geometric characteristics of flat sections, the study of stress-strain state, complex resistance, etc.
The team of BSTU named after Shukhov, who took part in the Olympiad, took the honorable second place in the team standings. Congratulations to the students on their high result!
