Sport issued discussed on the international level
19 years ago Belgorod State technological university named after V.G Shukhov organized a conference, which from year to year brings together representatives of physical education departments of Russian and foreign universities within the walls of our university.
The participants of the conference "Physical Education and Sports in Higher Educational Institutions" discussed the most urgent issues of the scientific sports community, shared their best practices, considered the latest health-saving methods of working with young people.
The Head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov Sergei Kramskoy told that the university activities are not limited to working just with the students, but also with schoolchildren future applicants. He introduced the sports infrastructure and the organization of the educational process.
“The sports facilities of the university is available to all students. BSTU students are engaged in 40 various sport sections: athletic gymnastics, table tennis, recreational swimming, kickboxing, motorsport and motor racing, kettlebell lifting, shooting, handball, football, basketball, volleyball, sambo, swimming, chess, athletics, etc. ”- Sergey Ivanovich emphasized.
The experience shared among the participants of the sports scientific symposium formed the basis of the published collection of articles containing the works of scientists from Russia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Belarus. These are articles on topical issues of physical education and sports, physical rehabilitation, recreation and medical and biological support of physical culture and sports among students. The materials of the collection are of theoretical and practical interest for teachers, researchers, coaches, athletes, doctoral students, graduate students, masters, as well as secondary school teachers, students, and individuals who are independently involved in physical culture and sports.
