Students from Shukhov Belgorod State Technological University laid flowers at the memorial to Turkmen soldiers.

International and Russian students from Belgorod State Technological University  named after V.G. Shukhov took part in a ceremony commemorating the heroic deeds of the Turkmen soldiers who died in the place of the Battle of Kursk .

The ceremony participants honored the memory of the heroes at the monument to the Turkmen soldiers who fought in the Battle of Kursk, one of the key battles of the Great Patriotic War. The memorial commemorates the fallen soldiers and serves as a reminder of the unity of nations during difficult times.

 Allaberdi Umarov, a student representative from Turkmenistan, in his speech emphasized the importance of preserving the memory of the heroic deeds of the Turkmen soldiers who fought during the Great Patriotic War.

"We are standing here at the foot of a monument that silently preserves a history of courage and selflessness. Today, we bow our heads in memory of the Turkmen soldiers who, during the iron years of the Great Patriotic War, fought shoulder to shoulder with other nations for freedom, for life, for our future," Allaberdi Umarov noted.

During the Great Patriotic War, more than 180,000 people from Turkmenistan went to the front. Thousands of them did not return, having sacrificed their lives for Victory. They participated in the battles of Moscow and Stalingrad, liberated Europe, demonstrating courage and bravery. Their names are inscribed in the histories of Russia and Turkmenistan.

During the ceremony, special attention was paid to preserving historical memory and patriotic education of youth. The laying of flowers at the memorial became a symbol of the unity and friendship of peoples united by a shared history and a common Victory.
