The Institute of Serbian Language and Communications of BSTU holds the Days of Belgorod in Serbia

The Days of Belgorod are taking place in the capital of Serbia, Belgrade, on December 11 and 12. The event, organized for the second time by the Institute of Serbian Language and Communications of the Shukhov Belgorod State Technical University, is being held in the Russian House. Over the course of two days, participants will discuss issues of cooperation, history, and geopolitical prospects.

"The partners of the event from the Russian side are Rossotrudnichestvo, the government of the Belgorod oblast, the Belgorod Metropolitanate, and Belgorod administration; from the Serbian side, the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in the Russian Federation, the Vranje Eparchy, the Center for Russian Studies of the Faculty of Political Science in Belgrade, and the Vojvodina Archives," shared Victoria Ryapukhina, director of the Institute of Serbian Language and Communications.

The Belgorod Days will begin with a meeting of the expert round table "Belgorod Borderland: Historical Events, Modern Realities and (Geo) Political Prospects". Then the guests of the meeting will take part in the opening of a joint photo exhibition of Russian and Serbian photographers "Yesterday Belgrade. Today Belgorod. NATO's Bloody Trail", after which there will be a presentation of a bilingual Russian-Serbian book by a group of authors "Serbs in the Belgorod Region and in Russia: Inseparable Historical and Cultural Ties". The first day will end with a musical performance by Marjan Milosevic (accordion) and a presentation of the Russian-Serbian School of Service and Hospitality "White Quarter".

On the second day, the Russian House will host a presentation of the Shukhov Belgorod State Technical University and master classes for children, a youth round table “Orthodox Bioethics: Between Faith and Science”, and will also open an exhibition by Andrey Zakomorny “Belgrade through the Eyes of a Belgorod Resident”.

The final event of the festival-forum will be the presentation of the Serbian edition of the book by Metropolitan of Belgorod and Stary Oskol John (Popov) "The Sky of Our Life" with the participation of the musical ethno-group "Zlatnik". After that, guests will enjoy a musical performance by Petar Velichkovic (accordion) and a presentation of tourism and hospitality of the Belgorod oblast with a tasting of products and dishes from this region.
