ART WITHOUT BORDERS

The IX International Art Forum is taking place in Moscow with the support of  Shukhov Belgorod State Technological University and the Assembly of Peoples of Eurasia. It brought together 30 participants from Egypt, Kuwait, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Syria.

Let us recall that BSTU named after V. G. Shukhov annually becomes a platform for a meeting of painters, graphic artists, sculptors, designers and students of art universities within the framework of the International Art Plein Air. For the first time such a meeting was organized in 2015 on the initiative of the rector of BSTU named after V. G. Shukhov Sergei Glagolev. Today it is one of the most favorite and creative events for BSTU. Artists from all over the world come to Belgorod to communicate and exchange experiences. The participants of the meeting take inspiration from getting to know the university and visiting the city's sights.

This year, due to the current situation, the Art Forum is being held in Moscow. The day before, the grand opening of the event took place, in which the rector of the Shukhov BSTU Sergei Glagolev took part online.

“During the entire period of holding the plain air events, over 200 international artists and sculptors were able to share their unique experience with Russian students, schoolchildren and specialists, conduct master classes for everyone, bring their aesthetic ideas and images to life and donate the works of Arts,” said Sergei Glagolev.

Also, the Chairman of the Association of Contemporary Artists of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Khalil Al Madhoon, Deputy Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly, Yulia Petrova, Director of the MONS Museum, Darya Karacheva, and Professor of the Hallwan University in Egypt, Professor of the BSTU named after Shukhov, Osama El -Serwy, addressed the audience with a welcoming speech.
